Are You Using
the Best Face Moisturizer?

It’s no secret that everybody wants beautiful, healthy, younger looking skin!

So you’re constantly looking for the best face moisturizer only to find out it doesn’t work any better than the last moisturizer you wasted your hard earned money on!

Well . . . here are some things you may want to consider before you put anything else on the delicate skin on your face . . .

  • FREE RADICAL DAMAGE is one of the main causes of dry,  wrinkled, aging skin!
  • TOXINS create free radicals!

So, if you’re trying to prevent the signs of aging, does it make sense to use a moisturizer with toxins in it?

Are there any toxic synthetic ingredients in the moisturizer you’re putting on your face now?

Here’s another thing to think about before you purchase your next facial moisturizer:

  • When unsaturated oils turn rancid (oxidize) they become TOXIC to our bodies and create harmful free radicals!
  • Unsaturated oils quickly go rancid when they are exposed to heat, light or oxygen.

And . . . did you know they can go rancid on the inside or the outside of your body?

What types of oils are in your moisturizer?

Read Ingredient Labels!

If you really want to know whether a product (face moisturizer) is going to do all of the wonderful things that the salesperson is telling you or the packaging is promising you, the best thing you can do is:

Read the ingredient label!

That ingredient label (and a little bit of knowledge or research) can help protect you from wasting your money on a product that could negatively affect your skin or even worse . . . your health!

It will give you a pretty good indication of whether that face moisturizer could really help you or if it is just another marketing ploy to maximize profits at your expense.

Here’s a perfect example!

Recently my niece purchased a 2 oz jar of face cream for $265! (Yes, you read that right).

So, I went online to see what in the world was in this stuff!  Only to find out there wasn't a full ingredient list any where to be found on that web site. (I wonder why?)

That’s when I decided to stop by the department store to read the ingredient list.

While the aesthetician behind the counter was talking to my niece, telling her how great this product was, I was quickly glancing over the long list of ingredients and I was shocked at what I found!

The first three ingredients that popped out and made my jaw drop open were:

Right away, it was apparent to me that this face cream was just an unbelievably expensive jar of petroleum jelly mixed with more synthetic ingredients, a few good ingredients (to impress or fool the consumer) and a high end marketing strategy.

I couldn’t believe it!

I politely gave the package back and was going to let my niece know my findings once we left the store; but the aesthetician wanted to know what I was looking for since I had asked to see the ingredient list.

I was reluctant to tell her since she worked there and had to sell the stuff, but she insisted.

So, I started to tell her what I knew about some of the specific ingredients in it, but it contradicted what she had just told us.

Come to find out, she was also aware of what the ingredients really were, but of course, she had been trained by the manufacturer to sell the product.

She went on to tell us that this particular cosmetic mogul she worked for had purchased the company that invented the cream along with several large vats of the original formula.

Then she said there was only one vat remaining, so in order to conserve it, they had to add a lot of fillers to it.

This is just another confirmation of why it is so important for us to read the ingredient list!

We Want Noticeable Results!

I’m a consumer just like you.  The end user of any product . . . good or bad.

We’re the ones slathering this stuff all over our faces (every day) trying to get the results the manufacturer is promising us on that beautiful little label.

Well . . . knowledge is power!

  • If there are toxins listed in the ingredients
  • And, toxins create free radicals
  • And, free radical damage causes dry, wrinkled, aging skin

Then . . . I think we both know what the manufacturer can do with that skin care product!

Protect Your Skin

Soft Skin

  • Soften your skin

Coconut oil is a mild exfoliant . It will naturally help remove dead skin cells on your face so your skin will be softer and smoother.

TIP:  Your skin may need a little extra help exfoliating if you notice skin flakes on your face.   Here's one gentle way you can remove them:

  1. Add a little coconut oil onto an exfoliating cotton round.
  2. Apply it by gently rubbing your face in small circular motions.
  3. Discard the cotton round.
  4. If needed, finish by using your fingers to gently massage any excess coconut oil into the skin on your face.

(Skin repairs itself during the night, so I like to do this right before I go to bed) but you can do it anytime.

  • will not clog your pores!
